AT Institute Scholarship (TERMS & CONDITIONS):

The following annual AT Institute (ATI) Scholarships candidates should be non UK residents and shall be construed and evaluated according to the laws of the United Kingdom. To participate in the ATI Scholarship, you must also be at least 18 years old. If you do not meet these requirements, we ask that you do not register with us. In order to receive the stated promotion, it requires completion of the offer terms. Offer terms include; age and residency requirements, along with a checkable reference with aims to contribute to a project called the “success endeavour”.
NO AFFILIATION OR ENDORSEMENT: This promotion is the sole venture of ATI Scholarships AND is solely responsible for administration of this offer. ATI is not affiliated with any other sponsors.
ELIGIBILITY: The competition is opened to any individual 18 years or older. Applicants must be permanent residents of the country in which they are applying and also meet the criteria of the application. By participating and accepting the offer made by ATI, the candidate has accepted to abide by the rules of ATI and the professional body with which they will have to register. In other words, candidates accepting the Official Rules set by ATI also have to accept rules set by their examining bodies.   Decisions to select best candidates will be based entirely on merit and ATI decision is final.
ENTRY: To apply, go to http://www.atinstitute.co.uk/ and follow the links and instructions to register. Registration is £50(GBP) non refundable, which covers the administration cost and there is no purchase necessary. To participate, the applicant needs to produce an assignment (thesis) of not more than 2000 words excluding bibliography and reference section. Each applicant may enter the competition only once during the registration time frame. The registration time frame is from beginning of January 2007 to 15th March 2007 at 12:00a.m (UK Time) for the April entry and 30th July for the September 2007 entry,consequently 22 October2007 for 2008 entries. All applicants must submit a valid email and correspondence address.
ATI is not responsible for errors, omissions, loss, interruptions, deletions, and delays in operations or transmission, invalid, incomplete, technically corrupted or misdirected entries. All of these types of entries will be disqualified. All assignments become the property of ATI and will not be returned. ATI is not responsible for any claims, liabilities or damages in conjunction with the scholarship contest. ATI is not responsible for any claims, liabilities or damages in conjunction with the process of meeting the scholarship rules. ATI reserves the right to disqualify applicants for any reason we deem fit and at any time. Scholarship rules and guidelines are subject to update and modification at anytime and for any reason.
RESULTS:  SIX winners (per intake and per country) will be selected on merit by a formal process. One scholarship for LLB Law and One scholarship for ACCA will be eligible for 100% scholarship (on tuition fees for 3 years only) will be awarded and the remaining four will have 50% of their fees exempted for three years in each country.  Please note that other expenses e.g. exam fees, living costs and study materials will be the responsibility of the applicant. Use of the data and personal information will be in compliance with our general privacy policy. The potential winner will be notified by e-mail, telephone, regular U.K. postal mail, or by your nearest British Council within approximately 3 weeks after the closing date.  If a potential winner cannot be contacted after reasonable effort within two (2) to seven (7) days after the initial attempt, this will result in forfeiture of the scholarship and an alternative entrant will be selected in his/her place. Potential winners must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements listed.
Undergraduate Programmes: LLB Law and Business B.Sc BOTH UNIVERSITY OF LONDON EXTERNAL DEGREES
ATI offers Scholarships in the two above undergraduate programmes; Both of them are academic undergraduate programmes lasting for 3 years. Students/candidates are advised to log on to the University of London for any information such as entry requirements or its equivalent, examination date and cost which can be found on http://www.londonexternal.ac.uk/
Professional Programmes:   Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and Institute for the Management of Information Systems (IMIS)
ATI also offers Scholarships on these two professional programmes which also last for 3 years. Students/candidates are advised to log on to the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants website http://www.accaglobal.com/ for any information such as entry requirements or its equivalent, examination date and cost.  For any further information on IMIS, please log onto the IMIS website http://www.imis.org.uk/
ALL 100% scholarship holders are responsible to pay all other costs other than their tuition fees. The remaining four (4) other scholarship holders will be required to pay 50% of the tuition fees as well as any other associated costs as stipulated above.  ALL UK costs of study such as membership with the University/studying body, registration and examination fees have to be paid by the scholarship holders in all circumstances. Scholarship holders are expected to voluntarily contribute to the project call the ‘‘success endeavor’’ which will not exceed 2 hours a month of your time. Any falsification of information provided by the candidates will result in rejection of their application or termination of their scholarship, in which case the Immigration Authorities will also be informed.
PAYMENT OF FEES: Scholarship holders who are exempted for 50% of their course fees are expected to pay the full amount of their outstanding fees prior to the commencement of their course amounted to three years program’s fees. Student paying on a yearly basis must ensure the payment of tuition fees for the next year of an academic intake have to be made as soon as the last month of the semester is due to be completed.  ATI will only issue letters of enrolment after payment of the fees for at least one year , however, the two extra years shall remain payable as per the terms and condition. If scholarship holders are refused entry clearance by the British Consulate, the same rule will apply for refund which can be found on ATI application form. 
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By participating, entrants (a): agree that the Sponsor, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, service providers, and agencies, and their directors, officers, agents, employees, attorneys, and any other person or entity associated with such entities and/or promotion shall not be liable for any and all claims, damages, losses or injuries, including any third party claims, arising from or relating to, in whole or in part, this competition, including entry and participation and acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prizes; (b) agree that Sponsor and its’ employees and agents have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize including, but not limited to, its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose; (c) agree to be bound by the official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor (including but not limited to eligibility determinations) which are final and binding in all respects; and (d) consent to use of his/her name, photograph and/or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes in connection with this Promotion without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
All entrants further agree that in the event of any third party claims, damages, losses or injuries, arising from or relating to this competition, they will indemnify the Sponsor from any and all such claims, including the attorneys' fees are related thereto. The Sponsor shall not be liable for entries and winner notification responses that are delayed, lost, misdirected, illegible, mutilated, incorrect or incomplete, and such entries will be not be eligible for this Competition.  The Sponsor is not responsible for late, loss, incomplete, inaccurate or misdirected entries, whether caused by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in the Scholarship Program; computer system, phone line, computer equipment or computer malfunctions, software, program malfunctions or other failures, or other errors or delays; or network connections that are human, mechanical or technical in nature. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Sponsor and its employees and agents’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the contest, and in no event shall the released parties be liable for attorneys’ fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct or indirect damages. ANY PERSON ATTEMPTING TO DEFRAUD OR IN ANY WAY TAMPER WITH THIS COMPETITION WILL BE INELIGIBLE FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP AND MAY BE PROSECUTED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.  The Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this competition should viruses, bugs or other causes beyond their control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the competition.  The Sponsor further reserves the right to modify the rules of the Competition in any way or at any time, as long as reasonable notice is given. ATI RESERVES THE RIGHT TO INVITE CANDIDATES FOR AN INTERVIEW ON THEIR THESIS.

WINNER INFORMATION/COMPETITION RESULTS: A list of all successful applicants will be made available to all British Councils by email.  In case applicants are unsure of their results, they are welcome to contact ATI directly on   http://www.freecollegescholarships.net/winners.php.  The successful applicants will receive all the necessary documents by post.  However, a self-addressed stamped envelope should be submitted to AT Institute, Nena House 77-79 Great Eastern Street London EC2A-3HU, UK.
